Foundations of Nanoscience
23rd Annual Conference
Monday, March 16th – Wednesday March 18th, 2026
Satellite conference: Thursday, March 19th 2026
Venue Announcement:
We are excited to announce FNANO’s first European venue. We tentatively plan to mimic our sister conference DNAX by alternating years in Europe and the United States.
In 2026 FNANO will be held in Munich.
Conference Overview:
Foundations of Nanoscience is a yearly conference on the scientific underpinnings of nanoscience, with self-assembly as a central theme.
Over the last 20 years, FNANO has become a nucleation point for programed self-assembly (DNA nanofabrication, RNA nanotechnology, Protein Engineering, etc).
However, FNANO’s mission is to cultivate a wide breadth and variety of attendees within nanoscience and to provide opportunities for them to share ideas and interact. We believe that the future of nanoscience lies in mixing expertise that are too often siloed within the boundaries of traditional departments and fields.
The FNANO26 will be held from Mon. March 16 to Weds. March 18, 2026.
On Thurs. March 19, 2026 the Biosystems Design Munich (BioSysteM) Cluster of Excellence will support a satellite conference.
Venue:
The Technische Universität München will be hosting FNANO26.
